Commission: The Friendly Fox

Mouse is rewriting an old fairy tale called "The Golden Bird" which is not about a bird at all, but rather about some princes who are galloping idiots and a fox with astonishingly poor judgment. Also a lot of completely arbitrary "go fetch the thingy from the place over there" questing. Followed by more poor judgment. Also there's a maiden and an attempt to blackmail someone into assisting a suicide.

So your typical fairy tale, in other words.

I like Mouse's version better. If only because there's not nearly so much gold crap trading hands all over the place.
